Maths Instructor Needed for Immediate Start in Southend

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Instructor looking for a new opportunity? Our schools in Southend are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team in September 2024.

About the Role:

As a Maths Instructor, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching and learning of mathematics across the school. Whether leading small group interventions, assisting in whole-class teaching, or providing one-to-one support, you will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in maths.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and interactive maths sessions tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups.

- Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering effective maths lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources.

- Provide targeted support to pupils who may be struggling with specific concepts or require additional challenge.

- Track and monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as necessary.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the maths curriculum and departmental initiatives.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience working as a Maths Instructor or Teaching Assistant in a school setting.

- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics, with the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.

- Patience, resilience, and a flexible approach to working with students with diverse learning needs.
