Are you a recent Maths graduate who’s looking to pursue a career in teaching and wishes to gain valuable experience of working in an innovative school to aid in a teacher training application?

Requirements:
At least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, or a related subject.
Passion for the education of young people.
Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts.
Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of students.
Flexible and adaptable personality.
Natural ability to build strong bonds with others.
Previous experience of working alongside students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
The Role
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will use your friendly personality to create a positive learning environment for students by partaking in activities with the wider school community and extracurricular events. You will provide support to both students and staff by leading 1:1 and small group interventions for under-achieving students, in addition to assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivering of high-quality maths lessons. To adapt learning materials to suit the needs of individual students, you will assess classwork and identify any additional support needs.
