Are you enthusiastic about mathematics and passionate about education? Our secondary schools in Harlow are seeking a dedicated Maths Cover Supervisor to join our team starting in September 2024.
As a Maths Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include supervising maths classes, keeping students engaged and on task, and supporting their understanding of mathematical concepts. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to their success in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise maths classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Implement lesson plans and ensure students remain focused on their work.
Support students in understanding and completing their maths assignments.
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Assist with the preparation and organization of maths teaching materials and resources.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong background in mathematics, with relevant experience or qualifications.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic school setting.

Requirements:
Relevant qualifications or experience in mathematics or a related field.
Experience working with secondary school students is advantageous.
Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and strategies.
