Job Description:
Are you passionate about mathematics and information technology? Do you have the skills to inspire and educate secondary school students? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! This secondary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and IT Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis from Easter until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in mathematics and information technology to students in accordance with the school's curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK (preferrable)
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics and IT to secondary school students.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
