My client, a dynamic and well-loved British Institution, are currently looking for an experienced Materials Support Manager to join their team.

Role Purpose: Lead a dynamic 24/7 shift team, ensuring exceptional customer service in the distribution of materials and tooling for my clients MRO production facility.

Key Responsibilities:
* Empower the team to achieve business objectives related to the storage, distribution, and delivery of materials and tooling.
* Lead and manage a team of over 20 members.
* Oversee daily operations for the supply chain.
* Develop strategies for continuous improvement to ensure materials and tooling are available on time and at the correct location, supporting operational needs.
* Manage material and service expenditures to meet financial targets and provide weekly reports.
* Implement short-term recovery actions and plans to support production needs.
* Maintain detailed knowledge of Health & Safety, facilities, airworthiness, and other regulatory requirements to ensure a compliant and safe operation.
* Ensure effective communication within the Supply Chain team through meetings and briefings.
* Develop performance measures to identify areas for supplier improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
* Vocational leadership qualification.
* Proven experience in managing Health & Safety and Quality Systems.
* Track record of delivering operational performance while balancing cost, quality, and service.
* Knowledge of procedures and asset management tools and techniques.
* Basic purchasing skills.
* (Desired) Experience with Aircraft Tools and Equipment.
* Knowledge of EWS supply chain module
