Description:
Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Stores Person to join our Grangemouth based client. This is a temporary role initially with a view to becoming permanent after a qualifying period.
You will be site based, working 39 hours Monday to Friday and will have the opportunity to earn overtime.
Working as part of a busy, established team you will manage the control of materials and stores provision for the business. Your duties will include:
Creating and maintaining records of stock movement within the company
Carrying out safety checks on equipment
Ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations
Maintaining all aspects of equipment and stores in line with company processes and procedures
Managing logistics of equipment including international shipping and customs clearance, when required
Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy store environment.
Actively participate in promoting and maintaining the Company’s high standards for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
Carrying out all related administration
You will ideally have a knowledge of Equipment Control Systems, NDT Techniques and Rope Access Equipment, however training can be provided. You must have worked in a similar role and will understand the importance of managing materials accurately and safely in a fast paced and changeable environment. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to work with people at all levels.
