Material Handler

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team as a Material Handler. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient receipt, organisation, and distribution of materials within our client's facility.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments of materials and goods.
Inspect and verify received items for accuracy and quality.
Accurately log received items into the internal database.
Maintain up-to-date records of all received materials.
Prepare materials for distribution by picking and packing items as per company standards.
Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transportation.
Maintain organised records on the flow of materials within the facility.
Update records regularly to reflect real-time inventory status.
Monitor the flow of materials and parts between different departments.
Collaborate with various teams to optimise material flow processes.
Identify and expedite materials to address any shortage issues.
Work closely with procurement and production teams to resolve shortages promptly.
Assist in the pre-assembly of materials to support the production process.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure a seamless work flow.
Undertake other tasks as required from time to time to support operational needs.
