Jonathan Lee Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for 2 Materials Controllers with purchasing and MRP system experience to join a leading manufacturing business in Telford. We're helping to recruit 2 Materials Controller on a permanent full time basis, and the role comes with an excellent salary up to £27,500 per annum and benefits package.
As a Material Controller, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting any risks to supply and manage the delivery schedule of FCLs, ensuring no detention or demurrage occurs while passing freight-related invoices for FCLs and liaising with 3PLs.
As a Material Controller, daily duties will include the following:
Release Purchase Orders and expediting component orders, maintaining delivery dates to the MRP schedule to support manufacturing and After Sales
Raise manually generated orders to provide components outside of MRP control
Monitor the delivery performance of selected vendors, agree and implement improvements in supplier delivery adherence
Attend supplier and department meetings to discuss and agree on targets and actions in line with the above responsibilities

Previous experience within a similar role
Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) in grades A to C to include English Language and Maths
Previous MRP system experience
