An opportunity has arisen for a Materials Controller at our Altens R&D facility. Duties will include receipt and checking goods, preparation of materials for transfer between offshore and onshore locations. inventory management, preparing manifests for shipping, coordinating returned cargo, and communicating with clients and vendors whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
The successful candidate should ideally hold Dangerous Goods by Sea. RTITB forklift truck certification, IOSH Working Safely and experience in Manual Handling. They should be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, the ability to prioritise competeing demands and good organisation skills is key.
They will have previous experience in a similar role and have knowledge of material management systems, and MS Office applications.
