An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a leading global FMCG company with brands such as Domestos, Comfort, Persil & Tressemme, are currently looking for Material Supplier to work in their prestigious facility in Port Sunlight. This is a Temporary, but ongoing position. The pay rate will be £14.30 an hour on basis of 37.5 hours per week
Material Supply PROFILE.
The Material Supply/Bottle Tipper is responsible for safely delivering a continuous supply of bottles to ensure that production lines are able to run.
Applicants must be able to follow the shift pattern in full:
Monday to Friday 5.30am-1.30pm
Monday to Friday 1.30pm - 9.30pm
Monday to Friday 9.30pm -5.30am
Operational Activities:
Stripping Pallets -Remove outer packaging materials from the pallets of bottles and prepare for tipping.
Tip Trays of Bottles - Load correct bottles into hoppers following SOP's to ensure continuous production.
Waste & Recycling - Remove waste from the pallets and ensure appropriate segregation into appropriate recycling streams or bailers.
Housekeeping - Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and tidy, maintaining 5's standards for the area.
Cleaning - General cleaning duties of the work area using appropriate cleaning equipment.
Administration - Accurately check and record bottle and pallet details in the Tipping Log for traceability.
Communication - Maintain good internal communications within the bottle handling team.
Safety
Ensure Company safety policy, rules and procedures are understood and followed at all times.
Adhere to Site SOL Licence
Report safety issues to the appropriate Team Lead
Actively contribute to the safe working environment
Experience and Competencies Required:
ESSENTIAL:
Teamwork- Must be capable of working within a highly effective team; responsible, supportive, and reliable.
Communication- Can effectively communicate issues relating to safety and quality and can provide operational observations to team lead when required.
PREFERRED / DESIRABLE:
Counterbalance FLT license desirable but not essential.
IT Skills - competent in the use of Microsoft Office; Excel and Word programmes is preferred.

Professional Qualifications:
National qualifications in Reading and Comprehension, Writing and Mathematics. This will support recording of data and general teamwork skills with emphasis on good communication
