Description
Oversee and manage the entire material planning process within the organisation
Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures
Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure material availability
Analyse and forecast material requirements
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
Implement strategies to optimise inventory levels and reduce waste
Prepare and present reports on material planning activities and achievements
Lead and mentor the material planning teamProfile
A successful Material Planning Manager should have:
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in material/ supply planning within an FMCG environment
Strong knowledge of inventory management and forecasting methods
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong experience using SAP and Power BI.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
