Description:
Focused Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler/ Fork Lift Operator to join our clients manufacturing site based within the Blackwood area.
To be considered for this role you would need to hold an external Counterbalance Fork Lift Licence.
Hours of work:
This role is working Monday - Friday on a 3 shift rotational basis consisting of days, nights & afternoons.
* Days - 06:00am - 14:00pm Monday - Friday. £13.09
* Nights - 22:00pm - 06:00am Monday - Friday - £14.57
* Afternoons - 14:00pm - 22:00pm Monday - Friday - £15.72
Duties of the role include:
* Undertake raw materials receipt and control in line with current company SOP’s.
* Complete suppliers check sheets consistently and accurately.
* Drive FLT on site within a safe and efficient manner.
* Ensure incoming raw materials are sampled in a timely fashion, in line with current SOP’s.
* Assist with the order picking and dispatch of finished goods.
* Assuring all materials are available for production in accordance with the production schedule.
* Contribute to the warehouse ‘clean and tidy’ programme and complete weekly cleaning in accordance with SOP’s.
* Using a wrapper machine.
* Loading trucks with the knowledge of loading to European customers
* Liaise with Quality Control regards the passing of materials.
* Assist with the various environmental projects/tasks that are ongoing including the baling and storage of all waste streams.

* Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Exceptional record of timekeeping and attendance.
* A good team player with the ability to co-operate and show consideration.
* External Counterbalance FLT Licence
