I am working with a manufacturing company in Southend. They are seeking a number of Material Handler to join on a contract basis.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 16:00pm or 12:00pm - 20:00pm
Pay rate: £11.44 per hour (plus holiday pay on top).
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: Until September with likelihood of extension.
Main responsibilities of the Assembly Operatives will include:
Receiving and unpacking material deliveries
Extracting and loading materials for transport
Cycle counting to ensure orders match materials received
Transporting materials in a warehouse or factory using material handling equipment
Inspecting material handling equipment and reporting any required repairs or maintenance
Responding to material requests from other business departments
