Material Controller
Location: Wednesbury
Salary:£30,000
Our client, a leading company in the car parts industry, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a bright and aspiring individual to join their team.
Key Responsibilities of Material Controller:
Determine the necessary production equipment, raw materials (creating BOMs), and labor requirements for production.
Generate and submit reports on production throughput.
Prioritize orders and plan accordingly to meet customer demands.
Work with management to resolve any production issues, setbacks, or quality control concerns.
Support the Purchasing team in predicting raw material needs.
Conduct contract review meetings, discuss new production methods, take notes, and assign tasks.
Prepare, complete, and file production paperwork in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
Execute other administrative tasks related to production planning and general operations.
Candidate Requirements of Material Controller:
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional role.
Experience coordinating production plans with departments such as Engineering, Quality, and Production.
Strong skills in building relationships with operators to ensure smooth and timely product delivery.
Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
