Master Vehicle Technician

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Vehicle Technician to join a leading UK automotive retailer at their franchise-approved dealership in Hereford. The successful Master Vehicle Technician will be instrumental in delivering high-quality repairs and servicing, mentoring colleagues, and working on complex vehicle systems.

Up to £45,800 starting salary dependant on experience

Conduct accurate diagnostics and repairs to a high standard, ensuring adherence to manufacturer, retailer, and industry guidelines
Undertake complex vehicle servicing and electrical/mechanical repairs
Mentor and support junior team members with diagnostics, repairs, and technical training
Work efficiently within a busy franchise-approved dealership environment
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair solutions
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations
Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
Assist with ongoing training and development activitiesRequirements of a Master Vehicle Technician:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Proven experience as a Master Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician
Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical vehicle systems
Exposure to complex diagnostics and repairs
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
A team player with a mentoring mindset and supportive attitude
