If you're a qualified Vehicle Technician who wants to move into diagnostics, develop your skills whilst earning £50k+, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
You'll have a clear development path towards becoming a Diagnostic Technician, backed by manufacturer training courses and hands-on development within the workshop.
You'll be joining a busy main dealer where there's heavy investment in developing technicians - giving you the opportunity to build the knowledge and diagnostic ability that can take your career to the next level.
And the hours? Monday to Friday, 7am–4:30pm. No weekends.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
* Diagnosing faults and developing your fault-finding ability
* Working on increasingly complex repairs as your skills develop
* Completing manufacturer training and technical development
* Working alongside experienced technicians and diagnostic specialists
* Progressing towards a fully-fledged Diagnostic Technician position
Requirements
* Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician
* Solid workshop experience
* Good mechanical knowledge and repair skills
* An interest in diagnostics and modern vehicle technology
* The ambition to keep learning and progress technically
You don't need to already be a Diagnostic Technician. The whole point of this role is to give the right technician the training and development to get there.
Salary and Benefits
* £38,000 basic salary to start
* £1,000 average monthly bonus
* £50,000 OTE
* Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm (-60)
* Manufacturer training courses
