Description:

We’re recruiting a Marketing Manager on behalf of a well-established manufacturing group based on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border. This is a full-time, permanent position for an experienced, hands-on marketing professional looking for a varied role where they can take real ownership of campaigns, content and brand activity across a group of companies.

Working closely with the Group Marketing Director, internal teams and an outsourced digital marketing agency, you’ll deliver marketing activity that builds brand awareness, generates enquiries and supports sales across both digital and print channels. From writing case studies and managing websites through to organising UK and overseas exhibitions, this is a role with genuine breadth — and one that suits someone who is equally comfortable with strategic planning and rolling up their sleeves to get things done. Some UK and overseas travel will be required for exhibitions and group company visits.

Main Responsibilities:

* Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across digital and print channels

* Writing, editing and proofreading blogs, case studies, press releases, brochures and presentations

* Updating and maintaining group websites including pages, product information, images and video content

* Working with the digital marketing agency on campaigns, SEO, website improvements and performance reporting

* Creating and coordinating social media content, email campaigns, photography and video

* Organising UK and overseas exhibitions including logistics, promotional materials and pre- and post-show activity

* Collaborating with colleagues, sales teams and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget

* Maintaining accurate content and consistent branding across all group companies

Skills/Experience:

* Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, delivering campaigns across multiple channels — essential

* Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills with strong attention to detail

* Hands-on experience updating websites via content management systems

* Experience in email marketing, social media, printed materials and exhibition organisation

* Confident working with external agencies and suppliers

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively

* Willing to travel within the UK and overseas for exhibitions and group company visits, including occasional overnight stays

* B2B marketing experience, ideally across multiple brands — desirable

* Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM platform — desirable

* Knowledge of SEO and digital analytics — desirable

* Video editing, photography and design skills using tools such as Canva — desirable

* A relevant marketing qualification — desirable

Salary & Working Hours:

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience. Full-time, permanent position. Based on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, with some UK and overseas travel required.

Benefits:

* Competitive salary dependent on experience

* Varied, hands-on role with genuine ownership across a group of established businesses

* Work closely with the Group Marketing Director in a collaborative, supportive environment

* Exposure to both UK and international marketing activity including exhibitions

* Opportunity to make a visible impact across multiple brands within a growing group
