THE ROLE

MARKETING MANAGER

If you live and breathe marketing, this could be the role for you! My client, Vac Lifting Group are looking for a flexible and versatile Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the growth of the inbound sales channels.

Your responsibilities will include tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with the brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects.

As part of your role, you will develop effective marketing strategies, create the marketing department’s operations, and ensure that all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness.

* Design and review the marketing budget for the Group.

* Create and deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.

* Prioritise marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly.

* Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the Leadership Team.

* Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.

* Provide guidance and ideas to organise effective marketing events.

* Forecast market trends.

* Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels.

* Produce valuable and engaging content for the websites and blog that attracts and converts target groups.

* Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.

* Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.

* Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals, as well as ROI.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Proven work experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role.

* Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords.

* Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.

* Excellent communications skills.

* Strong analytical and project management skills.

* Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions.

* BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field would be advantageous.

To be successful you will have previous experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to support a company’s sales activities. You will have a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns, digital marketing techniques and content creation.
