Description:

Kameo Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic and rapidly expanding events business, based in London to recruit for a Marketing Manager. Supported by the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy and create innovative marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget across a portfolio of events and digital products.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

* Marketing planning, strategy & analysis across the portfolio (events, publishing, media)

* Creation and delivery of the marketing plans & strategy across various marketing channels.

* Management of all planned activities across the portfolio (events, digital publishing) to budget and agreed schedules.

* Monitoring of response rates for key activity and creating action plans to maximise future results or to reduce lack of response.

* Campaign creative and branding – launch of new products within the portfolio.

Digital marketing:

* Managing all digital marketing platforms using a variety of digital marketing tools.

* Creating and delivering digital campaigns to inform and engage different audience groups across various channels including production, delivery, and reporting of emails, webinars, newsletters, website (not limited to).

* Using digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and create an invaluable customer experience.

* Working alongside the sales and editorial team to deliver sponsorship and partnership agreements.

* Working with external agencies on paid PPC and social campaigns

* Reporting on the performance of digital marketing processes and providing actionable insights by tracking goals such as ROI and key performance indicators (KPI).

Partnership development:

* Relationship building with visitors, exhibitors and prospects to improve market knowledge and input findings into the development of the events and communication plans.

* Partnership research, outreach, acquisition and renewals across media and associations.

* Negotiating and brokering partnership deals.

* Delivery of partnership activities pre-event, onsite, and post-event.

* Development of relationships with key exhibitors identified.

Advertising and sponsorship:

* Support on production, delivery and reporting of advertising across the whole portfolio.

Content marketing:

* Working alongside the editor to create engaging content to feed into the campaigns.

* Producing and executing a content marketing schedule – ongoing management of monthly content-driven e-newsletters.

* Working with external writers/editors/Advisory Partners to produce content including articles, white papers, reports, and webinars.

* Work with advisory boards to produce content/interviews/testimonials to be used throughout the marketing campaigns.

* Deliver and manage any digital, virtual, or hybrid events.

PR & media outreach:

* Management and delivery of PR campaigns working with external agencies.

* Writing press releases/media advisories.

* Building a media database and attracting media attendance at the events.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* A strong background in marketing, (with experience in exhibitions, events, product subscription based or publishing but not essential)

* Big picture thinking, adaptability, and resilience are key attributes of your character.

* High competency across all forms of communication – you have excellent written communication and proof-reading skills but also you love talking on the phone and having face-to-face conversations.

* Ability to hit simultaneous deadlines and work under pressure.

* Extremely well-organised and have excellent presentation skills
