Description:

Our client are an established law form in the York area, and are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to expand their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional services Marketing Executive looking to move to a role that offers greater autonomy, flexibility and span of responsibility. We are looking for someone who likes to think deeply about what the business needs and is keen to set plans into action.
The role may also be suitable for a Marketing Assistant who already has experience of a range of marketing activities within the professional services sector and can credibly demonstrate they are ready to take on a much more self-directed role.
The Head of Business Development and Marketing has a very broad role within the business and will rely heavily on the Marketing Executive to oversee, drive forward and further develop a range of external and internal communications programmes.
You will be joining a team of one and turning it into a team of two; so, whilst you will be fully supported in your role, you will also need to be a self-motivated individual happy to create your own 'to do’ lists and check-in with your boss that the general direction is correct.
You will also be expected to forge excellent working relationships with our existing, longstanding marketing services suppliers and quickly establish yourself as the lead contact for day-to-day project work.
As the marketing function drives the strategic planning process within our firm, there will also be considerable scope for the Marketing Executive to become progressively more involved in wider business analysis and strategy.
Whilst the role can be based formally at any of our offices and flexible homeworking can be part of the mix, there is an expectation that the successful candidate will regularly visit all our offices to forge effective working relationships at all levels within the organisation.
As long as the requirements of the role can be met, we are very happy to discuss part-time (our ideal working pattern would be 3 or 4 days a week to include a Friday) and other flexible working arrangements. We are also very happy to discuss the support we can offer in relation to professional and wider career development.
Ultimately you will be joining a small marketing team within a mid-size regional law firm. This means you will need to be comfortable being a jack of all trades working to budgets that are proportionate to the size of our business; no room to be a niche specialist here but we can offer you an unrivalled opportunity to develop into a generalist senior level marketer.
Responsibilities will include:
External communications
Our corporate social media feeds and websites; our press articles and CSR programme
Internal communications
Our intranet communications and support of our Social programme
Marketing analysis
Identifying priorities and creating realistic action plans, based on meaningful analysis
Process development
Further developing existing client review and client communication programmes
