Our client, a national retail business, is looking for a dynamic Marketing & Events Planner to take ownership of our marketing calendar, deliver engaging campaigns, and plan standout events that drive footfall, sales, and customer loyalty.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how the company brand shows up across stores, digital channels, and community events. From seasonal campaigns to in‑store activations and product launches, you’ll ensure every initiative is well-planned, on-brand, and executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage the annual marketing and events calendar across all retail locations.
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver in‑store events, product launches, seasonal promotions, and community engagement activities.
* Work closely with store teams to ensure campaigns and events are executed consistently and effectively.
* Brief and manage external suppliers, agencies, and event partners.
* Create engaging content for social media, email marketing, and in-store POS to support campaigns.
* Monitor campaign performance, footfall, and event ROI, providing regular reports and insights.
* Ensure all marketing activity aligns with brand guidelines and commercial objectives.
* Support wider marketing projects including photoshoots, PR activity, and local partnerships.
As a successful candidate you will be experienced in marketing, events planning, or brand activation—ideally within retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing environments with strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
With a creative flair with a good eye for design, branding, and customer experience is essential together with confident communication and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) would be desirable with a proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering memorable customer experiences.
