Assistant Head of Sales and Marketing

Location: Oadby

Hours: 8.30 – 5.30pm , Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £25k depending on experience

Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Assistant Head will be responsible for supporting all aspects of content creation including the company website, creating, and designing campaigns for advertising and e-marketing newsletters, working with a range of social media platforms, writing and scheduling posts, designing graphics, editing digital assets and providing management oversite of the sales team.

The day-to-day responsibilities will also include other aspects of sales and marketing such as processing inbound customer enquiries to the sales team, planning of marketing events, attending meetings, and creating detailed scheduling plans for all social media activity.

In the case of the absence of the Head of Sales and Marketing, it will fall to you to make sure targets continue to be met and progressed with and working alongside those in the sales roles supporting them where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing customer enquiries

* Data entry onto Hubspot (CRM System), and MailChimp

* Content planning for email campaigns to existing customers

* Email marketing campaigns to potential customers

* Photography and graphic design for brochures, leaflets, prospectuses, and all marketing materials

* Video editing

* Design and procurement of cost-effective branded merchandise

* Events planning

* Attendance at promotional events (including those held outside of normal business hours)

* Ensure targets are met

* Generating Sales & Marketing Reports

* Preparation of scheduled content, tasks, and reports for weekly/monthly meetings

Core Competencies

* Targeting - refining and segmenting data

* Engagement - delivering value-based content through the right channels

* Analytics - measuring marketing effectiveness

* Conversion - tracking prospect to customer

* Marketing - CRM systems, digital marketing

* Management - have the ability to manage and support others with their duties

Candidate Experience

Ideally, you would have the following experience:

* Digital marketing: 3 years

* Graphics design and content creation: 3 years

* Management: 2 years
