Are you a dynamic and creative marketer looking for an exciting contract opportunity to shape and execute innovative marketing strategies? Our client is seeking a digital savvy Marketing & Communications Officer to devise and launch marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness.

This hybrid-working role based on the outskirts of Bath will be a temporary 6-month contract initially, with the strong possibility of a permanent role becoming available.

The Role:

A newly created role and the company’s first inhouse hire in the marketing function, your role as Marketing & Communications officer will see you at the forefront of developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the business objectives.

You'll have the opportunity to shape digital marketing initiatives, create engaging content, manage social media, and optimise search engine performance. Your analytical skills will be crucial in measuring campaign effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.

In the role of Marketing & Communications Officer, you’ll be responsible for:

Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to support business growth.

Managing digital marketing efforts, including lead generation and customer engagement.

Creating high-quality content for the website, social media, and internal communications.

Overseeing social media management and performance analysis.

Coordinating SEO and SEM efforts with external partners to improve online visibility.

Developing and implementing targeted email marketing campaigns.

Monitoring marketing performance metrics and making data-driven recommendations.

Ensuring all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and guidelines.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in marketing communications or a related role.

Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, SEO, and analytics.

Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
