We are supporting our Shepperton based client in the recruitment of a Marketing Assistant to join their busy team. Salary up to £27,000, Bupa healthcare,  23 days holiday + Christmas closure & hybrid working.

Job Description:
As a Marketing Assistant, you will immerse yourself in the intricacies of the marketing strategies, lending your creativity and strategic insight to elevate our brand presence. This role beckons individuals eager to embark on a journey of growth within a vibrant, collaborative workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to craft captivating content tailored for various platforms, including social media channels, the company website, email campaigns, and print collateral. This encompasses crafting compelling copy, designing visually engaging graphics, and liaising with external agencies for content production as and when required.
Social Media Management: Take charge of nurturing and expanding the social media footprint across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. From curating content calendars to engaging with their audience and analysing performance metrics, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections with the online community.
Marketing Campaign Support: Dive into the heart of marketing campaigns, assisting in their conception, execution, and analysis. This entails conducting market research, deciphering data insights, coordinating logistical elements, and refining strategies to maximize campaign efficacy and ROI – (return on investment)
Email Marketing: Contribute to the development and deployment of targeted email marketing initiatives aimed at cultivating leads, promoting product offerings, and fostering customer engagement. You'll delve into the intricacies of email segmentation, template design, and performance tracking to optimise campaign outcomes.
Market Research: Embark on a quest for industry insights and consumer trends, leveraging research findings to inform our marketing endeavour’s. Stay attuned to competitor activities, emerging market dynamics, and customer preferences, thereby empowering the team to pivot and adapt strategies accordingly.
Event Coordination: Take an active role in orchestrating the presence at industry events, from trade shows and conferences to webinars and product launches. Your responsibilities encompass logistical planning, collateral preparation, and on-site support, ensuring seamless execution and meaningful interactions with attendees.
Collaboration: Foster synergistic relationships across cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design, to ensure alignment and coherence across all marketing endeavour’s. Embrace a collaborative ethos, contributing fresh perspectives and embracing collective ideation to drive collective success.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of hands-on experience in marketing, preferably within a similar role or industry.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools/platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.
Solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, encompassing SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
Exceptional organisational prowess, enabling you to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines amidst a fast-paced environment.
Proactive problem-solving aptitude coupled with impeccable attention to detail and a penchant for creativity.
