Description:

Marketing Analytics Manager | 6-Month Contract | Oxfordshire (Hybrid)

Ever looked at a dashboard and thought, “I could make this so much better”? This is your moment.

Our client is a global academic publisher and part of a FTSE 100 group, producing the peer-reviewed books and journals that move the world’s thinking forward. Behind every great marketing decision there is data, and they need a sharp, curious analyst to help their Marketing team turn numbers into wins.

This is six months of high-impact, highly visible work. You won’t be buried in a backlog. You’ll own your own projects, shape how a global marketing team makes decisions, and leave behind dashboards and insight that people actually use. It’s the kind of contract that looks brilliant on a CV.

What you’ll be getting stuck into

* Building reporting people love. You’ll design and optimise marketing dashboards (hello, Power BI) that let marketers answer their own questions with confidence.

* Telling the story behind the numbers. You’ll turn campaign, channel and customer data into clear recommendations, then present them to stakeholders who’ll act on them.

* Running experiments. You’ll support A/B testing that lifts conversion and engagement. Real tests with real results.

* Digging into the good stuff. You’ll work on campaign tracking, benchmarking and goal-setting, customer behaviour and segmentation.

* Levelling up the team. You’ll create in-house training so marketers can analyse their own campaigns.

* Getting the foundations right. You’ll work with Technology and fellow analytics teams to source, integrate and quality-check the data that powers it all.

You’ll love this if you…

* Get genuinely excited when you spot a pattern nobody else has

* Are highly numerate and can make advanced Excel do things others didn’t know it could

* Know your way around SQL, Google Analytics (advanced) and data visualisation, ideally Power BI

* Have worked with marketing, customer and sales data

* Have hands-on A/B testing experience and some wider statistical modelling know-how

* Can explain a complex insight to anyone, from a campaign exec to a senior leader, and make them care

* Think commercially and love seeing your work drive real results

Bonus points for any of these: Alteryx, Python, R, BigQuery, Marketing Cloud, Sprinklr, Contentsquare or Google Tag Manager.

The good stuff

* Hybrid working: 3 days a week in the Milton Park office, the rest wherever you work best

* 25 days’ annual leave plus your birthday off

* 3 extra days off over the festive season

* 4 paid volunteering days

* Private medical insurance, an employee assistance programme, and life, optical and medical cover

* Pension scheme and a share plan that gives you two free shares for every one you buy

* A genuinely flexible, collaborative culture inside one of the UK’s biggest knowledge businesses

The details

* Contract: 6-month fixed term, full-time

* Location: Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire (hybrid, 3 days on-site). You’ll need to be within a commutable distance.

* Salary: up to 55k

Six months. Big impact. A team that will genuinely value what you bring. Apply now, before someone else spots this pattern first
