SLR Recruitment are excited to be working with a dynamic busy ship building and refit client based in Portland, Dorset for a Marine Outfitter/Carpenter!
We are looking for a Marine based Outfitter/Carpenter to start ASAP on a project due to last around 2 months but could go on slightly longer depending on project requirements.
The role:
Your role will involve fitting deckhead linings, consoles, and general outfitting of an aluminium vessel.
You MUST have experience with cabinetry and joinery onboard vessels and internal vessel fitout.
Duration: Start ASAP for a 2 month duration, possibly slightly longer (project dependent).
Location: Portland, Dorset - LOCALS ONLY, no digs allowance- Campervans are fine to travel onto Portland but Caravans are not.
Rates: £25 per hour for all hours worked
Hours: 12 hour shifts available 7 days per week.
