Manufacturing Technicians

Description:

We are currently recruiting for Manufacturing Technicians to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes.

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Shift pattern:

Rotating 3-shift system:

* 7am–3pm

* 3pm–11pm

* 11pm–7am

Fixed shifts may also be available.

Once permanent, there are excellent benefits available.

The role

You’ll be working in a busy factory/manufacturing environment where chemicals are used as part of a number of processes. The role involves working with a variety of machinery and equipment, so a strong focus on safety, accuracy and following processes is essential.

Your duties will include:

* Operating and overseeing a variety of machinery

* Weighing and mixing chemicals

* Welding and using saws

* Following detailed instructions and set processes

* Reading and interpreting information from control panels

* Handling products safely using the correct tools and PPE

* Using a range of measuring equipment

* Working in line with strict health and safety procedures

About you

Ideally, you’ll have previous experience within a manufacturing or similar environment, although full training will be provided.

We’re looking for someone who has:

* Good attention to detail

* A strong awareness of health and safety

* Good practical skills and dexterity

* The ability to follow processes and instructions accurately

* A willingness to learn and develop

* A genuine interest in building a long-term career with the company
