Salary: Up to £43,000 P/A + benefits (plus Overtime, Flexi and Bonus)

Hours: 37 hours per week

The opportunity:

The Mechanical Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for carrying out the production, repair and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements.

You will:

* Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.

* Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.

* Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met.

* Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements.

* Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.

* Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.

* Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure.

* Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.

* Maintain a safe working environment.

* Maintain a good housekeeping policy.

* Communicate best practice to other team members.

Qualification and Skills Required:

* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard)

* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.)

* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ)

* A team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus.

* Proven planning and organisational skills

Flexible and adaptable approach

You will need to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role. This will require you to be either a full UK Citizen or dual national with British Citizenship. Some restrictions may apply.
