Manufacturing Systems Engineer | Witney | c£45,000pa plus c£4k bonus & bens:
  
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. With growth plans to scale their £100m turnover business to over £200m over the next 5 years, this role is a key component to ensure that their targets are met by driving continuous improvement into production and to help design and implement new factory machinery and processes.
  
The Manufacturing Systems Engineer will form part of a small team whose remit is to deliver continuous improvement and machinery projects into production. The projects you will manage could cost anywhere from £100k - £1m in value and you will be managing multiple continuous improvement and machinery projects at any given time.  
  
The successful Manufacturing Systems Engineer will need the following experience and skills:

Ideally Engineering qualified, either via an Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree.
Minimum 2 years in a production engineering role.
Experience of working with a high-volume manufacturing area with complex products.
Proven track record of working with internal teams to ensure that production and quality targets are met
Proven people management skills, with the ability to develop others through coaching and support.
Ability to create engineering designs using CAD.
Working with manufacturing automation.
Computer-literate, being fully conversant with MS Excel, Word, Project, Power Point Desirable:

Experience of designing and implementing a factory or production line.
Experience of ERP systems including BOM’s.
Practical experience in being part of a NPI process or team.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems ISO(Apply online only).
