Description:
Red Recruitment are currently working with a Redditch based client to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor on a Temporary basis.
Details:
* Permanent position
* Salary of £30,000 per annum
* up to £5,000 year bonus based on KPI's
* Rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00/ 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday
* Occasional Night shift holiday cover needed
Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliant with all Health & Safety
* Supervise and organise members of the team ensuring productivity at all times
* Diagnosing breakdown problems and faults
* Quality checking
* Repairing equipment
* Fitting new parts and ensuing equipment is working correctly
* Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
* Maximising production efficiencies
* Fill out any required paperwork currently and ensure this is passed to the relevant person
* Supervise and train members of the team
Experience and Skills:
* An ability to work well under pressure
* Excellent planning and leadership abilities
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proven experience as a supervisor (minimum 3 years, including disciplinary) / people leading
* Experience working to set quality standards
* Basic maintenance experience
* Not afraid to get hands on
* Relevant technical knowledge
* Fork lift experience but not essential
