Job Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Job Type: Long term contract, with the view for a Permanent contract

Salary: £12.00 per hour / £24,960 per annum + Overtime (x1.5) at £18.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm & Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm + Flexibility to undertake overtime as required, weekdays & Saturdays 7am – 12noon (approx. 2 per month)

A Global Manufacturer who has moved into bigger premises due to growth and development are currently looking to add a Stores Operative to their team of 3.

We are looking for applicants that have previous experience within Stores or Materials Control or Goods In experience ideally within a production / manufacturing environment who has driven and Counterbalance forklift and also had experience of checking goods, materials or parts coming into the business against orders to ensure right quality and specification.

Key duties will include;

* Receiving all goods in, quality checking and putting stock away

* Picking stock and kitting for the production area in a timely manner

* Receiving finished builds from production back into the stores

* Picking, packing and despatching of goods to customers

* Printing of labels & all required shipping documentation

* Maintain ERP System – booking/amendments and closing works orders, update and maintain stock records

* Operating forklifts as and when required

For this role we are looking for the successful applicant to possess;

* Previous stores / materials control / goods in experience within a production / manufacturing environment

* Counterbalance forklift licence (in-house or external)

* Working knowledge of ERP/MRP

* PC literate

* Flexibility to undertake overtime as required
