Description:

Our Portsmouth based engineering client is currently looking for a manufacturing operator to work on day shift.

This positions will involve lifting / shifting products and chemicals and coating a range of our clients products using the chemicals on site.
The ideal candidates must have some experience or knowledge of working with chemicals or experience of metal finishing.

The job will also involve the following:
You will be required to coat and plate a range of products adhering to industry standards.

You will be required to carry out quality control inspections.

Operate the required equipment associated with metal finishing.

A hands on and positive approach is essential - Training can be given on some aspects of the position.

Hours:
07.30am - 16.00pm (Monday - Thursday)
07.30am - 12.30 (Friday)
37 hrs p/w (Days)

Pay:
£13.42p/h
(Overtime may also be available)

This contract is for 9+ months but may well be longer term or potentially perm.
After 3 months there may also be an opportunity to work on a late shift (2pm - 10pm), which will be at £17.76p/h but this cannot be guaranteed
