Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: Peterborough

Working for a British Engineering company making bespoke manufacturing and processing equipment.

Role Overview:

As a Manufacturing Operator you will manufacture parts following drawings, that are used in the assembly shop or with customers direct orders.

This is not a closed shop.

Role Responsibilities:

Adhere to the defined schedule.
Work according to the planned times.
Operate a range of manual and CNC machines.
Inspect the parts you produce yourself.
Maintain a safe and organised work area.
Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures and report any Health & Safety information to management.

Required Skills:

Ability to operate CNC machines and manual machines.
Experience in various manufacturing techniques such as milling, turning, broaching, and drilling is preferred. Training will be provided to the suitable candidate.
Flexibility to work night shifts and over time if required.

Recognised engineering apprenticeship
Flexible with other tasks and roles within your line of work.
Self-motivationExperience:

Salary is depending on experience and if you have a recognised engineering apprenticeship.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 04.15pm
Friday 7.00am - 12.00pm
40 Hour week Working Location:

Peterborough PE4
