About the Client
Our client is one of the UK’s largest and most respected trade manufacturers of premium windows, doors, and engineered roof systems. Operating from state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the Midlands, they produce thousands of high-performance frames per week, spanning advanced PVC-U, Aluminium, and luxury timber-alternative ranges. Recognised as an industry leader and certified as a "Great Place to Work," they pride themselves on absolute precision, product innovation, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and deeply conscientious Glazing & Fabrication Specialist to join a fast-paced, quality-driven production environment. This is not an entry-level role; the successful candidate must possess a proven, verifiable track record in commercial window/door fabrication and a mature, self-motivated approach to workplace attendance and quality control.

You will be tasked with assembling high-specification, multi-material frames, ensuring every product meets strict PAS 24 and Secured by Design energy and security criteria before distribution to a national network of trade installers.

Key Responsibilities

Precision Assembly: Fabricate, weld, assemble, and hang a diverse portfolio of products, including PVC-U, Aluminium, Flush Sash, Bi-folds, and high-end timber alternatives using advanced technical machinery (e.g., Timberweld processes).
Glazing & Fitting: Correctly install hardware, gaskets, beads, and complex glazing units into frames according to exact architectural drawings and trade order specifications.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous self-inspection of finished frames to ensure flawless aesthetics, structural tolerance, and mechanical functionality before passing to logistics.
Operational Dependability: Adhere strictly to production schedules, demonstrating consistent punctuality, minimal absenteeism, and a mature work ethic that supports team output.
Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation, operating heavy machinery and tools strictly in line with UK health and safety regulations.Candidate Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of verifiable experience working within a busy double-glazing manufacturing or commercial fabrication facility. Extensive knowledge of PVC-U or Aluminium profiling systems is essential.
Reliability Profile: A proven history of high reliability and consistent workplace attendance. You must possess a strong sense of personal accountability and a mature attitude toward production deadlines.
Technical Skillset: Strong proficiency in reading technical drawings, operating fabrication saws, welders, routers, and hand tools. Experience handling premium or complex composite/timber-alternative brands is a major advantage.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for structural alignments, clean corner welds, and flawless hardware installation.
What the Client Offers

Stable, long-term career with a heavily invested, market-leading trade fabricator.
Work environment recognised formally for its outstanding employee culture.
State-of-the-art manufacturing facilities utilising cutting-edge machinery.
Generous holiday allowances and company pension structure
