Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineer to join our well-established engineering company, we are the market leader within our industry looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the team.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer ideally with a Degree level education to work alongside our existing team, main responsibilities will be to provide support with Lean Manufacturing / NPI / Quality and health & Safety.
Main duties for the appointed Manufacturing engineer will be:
Supporting assembly process documents and best assembly method to production.
Design facility layout for smooth production.
Participate in Kaizen & 5S workshop activity events carried within the assembly areas you are responsible.
Provide full support to production to achieve target pass to sales dates.
Analysing Bill of Materials along side the assembly sequence in production and request Engineering improvements to ensure best assembly methods.
Take responsibility for the manufacturability of new products and ensure a smooth introduction of the new product into assembly areas.
Liaise with Engineering to resolve build issues during the prototype and pre-production phases, request changes to drawings and for best assembly processes.
Develop continuous improvement and closed loop problem solving.To be the successful Manufacturing Engineer you will have the following skills & Experience:
Experience Working in an Engineering Manufacturing Engineer
Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatic and Electrics (Systems)
Good understanding and ability to produce Assembly documents
Experience using SAP
Bill of Materials experience as well as the Implementation of Engineering design changes to production successfully
