Looking for a Manufacturing Engineer role where you can make a real impact on processes, quality and production performance?

We're working with a specialist composites manufacturer with over 25 years of experience delivering high-quality composite solutions across sectors including motorsport, aerospace and advanced engineering. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll join a growing business where you'll play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, supporting production and helping to shape the future of the operation.

This Manufacturing Engineer role offers a broad remit, combining manufacturing engineering, process improvement and quality responsibilities within a highly skilled and collaborative team.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day manufacturing engineering support across composite production activities
Developing and improving work instructions, manufacturing processes and production documentation
Designing or modifying jigs, fixtures, trim tools and manufacturing aids using CAD software
Working closely with production teams to improve quality, repeatability, efficiency and manufacturing performance
Investigating manufacturing issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions 

This Manufacturing Engineer position is highly hands-on and will see you working closely with production staff, suppliers and customers to support successful project delivery while driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will need:

Experience within composites manufacturing, manufacturing engineering or a similar production environment
Experience supporting manufacturing processes and resolving production or process-related issues
Experience carrying out root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions
CAD experience for tooling, fixtures, jigs or manufacturing aids
