We are working with a reputable client based in Leeds (LS9) who require a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
The position is a permanent role paying £34,000 - 36,500 per annum (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing products and processes from concept to production
* Using SolidWorks to create production-ready designs and drawings
* Creating CNC Programs using AlphaCam
* Designing jigs, fixtures, and assembly solutions
* Supporting CNC routing, machining, welding and fabrication processes
* Creating BOMs and SOPs for manufacturing
* Driving Lean / 6S improvements and reducing waste
* Supporting prototypes, problem-solving and process optimisation
Key Requirements:
* ONC / HNC (or equivalent experience in engineering/manufacturing)
* Strong experience in a production or engineering environment
* Ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing instructions
* Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
* Strong AlphaCam experience
* A background in fabrication, machining, or CNC processes (preferred)
* Any electrical engineering knowledge (desirable but not essential)
