Responsibilities as a Manual Grinder:
* Set and operate universal manual grinding machines
* Internal and External grinding of components using magnetic chuck, 3-jaw chuck fixtures and between centres
* Use of inspection equipment to determine size, tolerance, and surface finish
* Small batch work working to engineering drawings and Route card
* Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying respect to colleagues and equipment
* Always present a positive attitude and an adaptable approach to problems
* Ensure machined parts comply with all aerospace/quality specifications and tolerances
The hours for this role are :30 Monday – Thursday and on Friday.
