WMS Implementation Specialist
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £37,000-£45,000
Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Manhattan Implementation Specialist for a full-time, permanent position. The role involves ensuring the seamless implementation of Manhattan WMS across both UK and European distribution centres. Acting as a link between IT and Operation teams, you will offer support and clarity on system integration. This position presents an excellent opportunity to shape the role according to individual expertise and vision.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with IT team to understand current systems and prepare for WMS implementation
Support testing, configuration, and optimisation of Manhattan across distribution centres.
Provide hands-on support for system changes, driving continuous improvement with 3PL distribution partner.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring collaboration between Distribution and IS teams.
Design and deliver training on Manhattan functionality to Distribution operatives.
Analyse business processes, design new configurations, and collaborate with BI team on reporting.
Oversee testing and quality assurance efforts to maintain solution integrity.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise implementation processes.
Skills & Experience
Proven track record in WMS implementation, particularly with Manhattan.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Solid educational background and proficient IT skills.
Experience with AS400 is a plus.
