It is essential that all applicants have experience working in a bank or similar financial institution dealing with customers. Unfortunately, our client cannot provide sponsorship and therefore only applicants that have eligibility to work in the UK for 3+ years in the future, will be considered.

On behalf of our client, based in London, we are looking to recruit a Mandarin Speaking Corporate Customer Clerk on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role is assisting with opening accounts and closing accounts, performing regulator account maintenance, updating customer information, processing Inward and Outward payment, processing Time Deposits, assisting with any enquiries and performing general administration tasks.

Responsibilities:

* Create and maintain accurate client information and static data on internal systems;

* Process the opening and closing corporate flexible accounts and fixed deposits accounts;

* Process Inward Remittance (IRM) and Outward Remittance (ORM) transactions;

* Process internet banking business;

* Maintain customer files by compiling available information and consolidating into internal system;

* AML Suspension Reporting;

* Handling customers enquiries;

* Internal and external reports;

* Bank statement and other leaflets posting;

* Assist in the resolution of compliance problems following appropriate internal processes;

* Generate and verify SCV File information;

* Conduct daily basic CASS review operation in accordance with established "policies”.

Skills and knowledge:

* Good Microsoft Office skills

* Good organizational ability and attention to detail

* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of different departments

* The ability to priorities tasks and delegate when necessary

* Accurate reporting skills

* Good team player and be responsible for teammate actions

* Fluent Mandarin would be an advantage
