Job Title: Managing Director - Modular Buildings
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €140,000 per annum + Bonus + Car Allowance/Company Car | Permanent

We are representing an established modular buildings business seeking a Managing Director to lead modular construction projects across education, healthcare and commercial sectors throughout Ireland. This role carries full P&L responsibility for a modular manufacturing business of approximately 50 employees spanning manufacturing, commercial and project delivery functions.

The successful candidate will lead the next phase of growth by diversifying revenue streams beyond public sector frameworks, strengthening operational performance, and driving collaboration between factory and office teams.

This opportunity will suit an experienced modular or offsite construction leader with proven operational, commercial and strategic leadership credentials.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide full leadership, operational and commercial management of the modular buildings division.
Deliver business growth through market diversification across residential, education, student accommodation, healthcare and private sector opportunities.
Hold full P&L responsibility and drive sustainable profitability across the business unit.
Lead manufacturing, project delivery and commercial functions to improve business performance and integration.
Develop and implement a three-year strategic growth plan aligned to group objectives.
Oversee tendering, bid management, client engagement and stakeholder relationships.
Build a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, communication and employee development.
Lead governance, KPI reporting and monthly business reviews while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. Experience Required:

Proven senior leadership experience within the modular buildings or offsite construction sector.
Demonstrable experience managing both manufacturing operations and construction/project delivery activities, and understanding their interaction.
Strong commercial, financial and operational management expertise with full business unit responsibility.
Evidence of delivering business growth and entering new markets.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across production, commercial and support functions.
Proven ability to build relationships with clients, boards and senior stakeholders.
Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and people management capabilities.
Ability to operate effectively within a senior leadership and management environment. Desirable:

Experience expanding modular construction businesses into residential, healthcare or private sector markets.
Exposure to fleet, hire or asset-based operational businesses.
Product development experience within manufacturing or modular construction environments.
Knowledge of government and framework procurement routes.Additional Information:

Full P&L responsibility.
Reports into the group C-suite and leads key operational, commercial and finance functions.
