Manager – Self Storage
You're an Assistant Manager who has more to offer.
Possibly the person who steps in for the manager, the go-to for team queries, and the one everyone relies on to be the guru and problem solver.
Here's a newly created Manager’s role within the self-storage sector.
You'll be responsible for supervising a team of two advisors, helping to train, support, and cultivate a great customer experience while ensuring revenue targets are met.
In your current role you enjoy working with numbers, administration, helping customers, and achieving sales targets. You are presentable, engaging with influencing skills.
You like the idea of being the trusted custodian of customers' valuable goods.
Other responsibilities will include:
Building links with the local community to promote the new store
Participating in marketing activities
Communicating face-to-face, via email, and over the phone with a variety of retail and trade customers
Following up on quotes to ensure maximum occupancy
Drawing up customer contracts
Preparing and presenting sales forecasts in Excel and PowerPoint
Overseeing finances, including late payments and debt management
Ensuring a safe environment for both customers and employees This position is 100% office-based and is in a central location with on-site parking and good public transport links.
The salary is £35,000 per annum with an expected £3,000 commission-based bonus. The store will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday – Friday, with reduced hours on the weekend.
The Manager's role will involve working weekends on a rota basis, with days off during the week. The store will be operating a soft opening initially with reduced hours.
