Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Bromborough, Wirral
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year
Working Pattern: Full Time
Our client, based in Bromborough, is a leading manufacturer and are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Responsibilities:
Production of monthly management accounts
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
Overseeing inter-company invoicing and reconciling group balances
Maintaining the standard cost of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods
Reporting and resolving production variances
Monitoring costs against budgets and investigating variances
Cash flow forecasting
Preparation of VAT returns
Supporting the Financial Controller
Providing line management and guidance to the Finance AdministratorRequirements:
CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist
Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths, or equivalent experience
Experience and understanding of Manufacturing environments
Good knowledge of Cost & Project Accounting
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
