Job Title: Management Accountant
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Location: London
Hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 WFH (fully office based for the first month for onboarding)
JGA are partnered with an exciting luxury tour operator, seeking a Management Accountant to handle financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Ideal candidates will have a strong financial management background, preferably with travel industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily financial tasks including payment processing, client money receipts, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly KPI reports, quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, and year-end accounts for auditing
Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
Conduct cost analysis and recommend savings opportunities
Manage foreign exchange transactions
Oversee payroll process handled by a third party
Prepare and submit reports to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA)
Monitor and manage cash flow
Assist in external audits and ensure compliance
Implement process improvements for financial reporting
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications:
ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications (Part Qualified or Full)
Minimum 3 years of management accounting experience, preferably in travel or hospitality
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with high accuracy
