As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our growing Finance team as we progress through an exciting period of growth and expansion.
You will be joining a high calibre finance function in a business which encourages and facilitates career progression and wants to hire ambitious people.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasts
* Reporting Actual and Forecast results internally and to our Group company, Aggreko
* Preparation of monthly payroll
* Preparation of KPIs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
* Maintenance of appropriate schedules and ensuring that they are available to support both internal and external auditors
* Reconciliation or balance sheet accounts including regular bank reconciliations
* Cash flow and aged debtor forecasts
* Preparation of VAT and other similar regulatory returns
* Working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve Finance objectives
* Preparing and providing ad hoc reports as required
About you:
This role is ideal for a newly qualified or senior part qualified accountant.
We are looking for the following skills, knowledge and experience:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) essential
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management accounting role
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis
