T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a successful market leading UK business who have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their team. This opportunity would really suit someone who is ambitious and is looking to springboard their career to the next level. As Management Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of reliable, accurate and timely financial information. You will be involved in the preparation of monthly Group Services management accounts as well as assisting with the consolidated Group management accounts, forecasts and budgets, cash flow projections and other ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as required.

* Location – Solihull based on site.

* Salary £40,000 to £45,000 & Benefits Package

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager and your remit will include:

* Preparation of monthly group services management accounts.

* Preparation of weekly activity reports.

* Treasury including daily reporting of cash balances, payment approvals and intercompany transfers

* Submission of Office of National Statistics Returns

* Assist with the management of the Group vehicle fleet

* Assist with the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.

* Assist with the half year and year end process including statutory audit and tax

* Support M&A activity, including the analysis of potential acquisition targets.

* Develop the financial aspects of business cases, acquisitions and capital investments to ensure that they are commercially and financially sound.

* Assisting in the preparation of cash flow and foreign currency reports to support bank facility decisions.

To be successful as Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:

* Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA),or Finalist

* Experience in the maintenance of ledgers and cost centres (preferably Sage Line 50).

* Preparation of VAT returns

* Experience in year-end audit and tax process

* Broad business knowledge including commercial, market and financial awareness.

* Stakeholder management skills

* Strong communication skills

* Experience in the preparation of consolidated monthly financial reporting. Able to produce reliable and accurate reports in a timely fashion.

* Excellent MS Excel and data analysis/manipulation skills.

* Communication skills – credible with senior management

* Relationship management – establishing and sustaining strong relationships with Divisional finance teams.
