Description:

Our client is a Management Accountant to join their Finance team in Wroxham on a permanent basis, supporting accurate monthly management accounts and commercially focused financial reporting.
Reporting to the Finance Planning and Analysis Manager, you will focus on gross profit reporting, cost analysis, reconciliations and maintaining the integrity of ERP data. This role would suit an organised and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working with data, investigating variances and collaborating with colleagues across a maritime manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the production and accuracy of monthly management accounts
Produce monthly gross profit reporting, including the reconciliation and reallocation of job expenditure
Complete work in progress and revenue recognition adjustments
Reconcile and reallocate other productive costs
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Carry out weekly timesheet checks and uploads
Analyse material costs, committed cost variances and labour costs, investigating discrepancies where required
Produce stock usage and variance reports
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of ERP data
Interpret financial and operational data to identify issues and opportunities
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve financial and data-related queries

Job Requirements:

Experience in management accounting, financial analysis or a related finance discipline
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, PivotTables and Power Query
Ability to interpret, analyse and report on key financial and operational data
Confidence and diplomacy when challenging inaccurate or incomplete information
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues
Positive, flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to take ownership of tasks
CIMA, ACCA or similar qualification, or progress towards a relevant qualification
Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
