Description:
Our client is seeking a Temporary Management Accountant to cover essential tasks within the busy finance department .
The role can be remote or hybrid to suit the candidate.
Key skills
Prepare management accounts, statistical analysis, and reporting.
Reconcile control accounts, and process monthly journals (including accruals and prepayments).
Prepare VAT and submit HMRC reports.
Generate financial reports for budget monitoring.
Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
Assist in audit preparation and execution.
Manage the fixed asset register.
Support the finance team with daily banking, sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control.
Ideally you will have:
Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or equivalent).
Good knowledge of MS Office/O365
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
This is an urgent requirement, and the client is ideally looking for a person to be in place by the first week of May 2024
