Description:
Prime Appointments are pleased to be working with a manufacturing company in the outskirts of Witham who require a Management Accountant to join their team for at least six months (maternity cover but this could be extended). Starting ASAP Working 9:00-5:00 Monday - Friday paying £19.00 - £22.00 per hour depending on experience.
Main duties for this Management Accountant position will include but are not limited to:
Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts (including calculation/posting of Prepayments/Accruals/Stock in transit/cost review).
Monthly submission of management accounts to group reporting system.
Weekly submission to group on sales/orders/stock/creditors/debtors.
Reconciliation control and uplift.
Prepare and post journals.
Posting of payroll and netting transactions.
UK VAT Return.
Posting of USD payments.
Stock additions, check Purchase invoices match GRN's, allocate on ERP system.
Produce various reports as required.
Assist with stat accounts and auditors.
Key Skills & Attributes needed to be considered for this position:
Part/Newly Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
Finance/Accounting background.
Experience in different ERP systems.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Good time management, ability to work to deadlines.
Self motivated and use own initiative.
