Description:
Our client based in Camberley is looking for a Management Accountant to assist them for 6 months on a full-time basis. The role will be based completely on site and there is free parking.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Financial Controller in achieving a swift and precise monthly closing process
* Posting, analysing, and managing accruals/prepayments for General Ledger (GL) accounts
* Reconciling month-end GL data with billing records and uploading them to Sage
* Conducting commercial analyses, including assessments of customer and product profitability along with providing explanatory narratives
* Monitoring performance against budget and forecast, adjusting forecasts as necessary
* Monitoring customer performance and ensuring billing accuracy via our billing platform
* Supporting the integration of new businesses into the company's financial systems
* Collaborating with commercial teams (sales and operations) to enhance comprehension of customers and products
* Identifying potential areas for operational efficiencies or enhancements throughout the organisation and taking a leadership or participatory role in teams dedicated to implementing those enhancements
The successful Management Accountant will have/be:
* Available immediately or on short notice
* Able to drive and access to a car
